Aloooha! I am currently a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), working with Alex Schwing. Previously, I obtained my Master's in Computer Science from UC Davis after spending two wonderful years with Yong Jae Lee. I completed my Bachelor of Software Engineering at Sun Yat-sen University (中山大学).

I spent two wonderful summers interning at NVIDIA Research with Zhiding Yu, Ming-Yu Liu, Xiaodong Yang, and Jan Kautz in 2018 and 2019 [photo of us]. I also worked as a Machine Learning Researcher at EgoVid Inc. with Michael S. Ryoo from 2017 to 2018 [photo of us@ECCV'18 demo].

Research Interests: Computer Vision and Machine Learning.
I am particularly interested in the tasks of learning visual knowledge with minimal human supervision.

  • I'll be joining FAIR, NYC for a summer internship! NY friends, let's party!
  • One paper is accepted into CVPR'20 on Weakly-Supervised Object Detection! Stay tuned!
  • Thrilled to be a recipient of the Yunni & Maxine Pao Memorial Fellowship. Thanks!
